Crawford Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) Pond Clinic
The Crawford Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) will be hosting a pond clinic on June 20th at Johns Pond, located at 2699 Carey Road, Bloomville.
Main Speaker: Eugene Braig from OSU Aquatic Ecosystems
- Topics covered include identification and control of pond weed.
Speaker: Crawford County Wildlife Officer Nathan Cass
- Discussion on managing nuisance wildlife around ponds.
Speaker: Crawford SWCD
- Information on pond construction and reconstruction.
The clinic will begin at 5:15 p.m. and will provide a light meal courtesy of the Lykens Country Crew 4-H Club. The event will continue until 7:45 p.m. Attendees are advised to bring their own lawn chair. The clinic will take place rain or shine. Those who have aquatic plants in need of identification are encouraged to bring them to the program.
