Kenny’s Tire and Auto Repair Receives Biofuels Infrastructure Grant

Kenny’s Tire and Auto Repair, located in Bemidji, has been awarded a $199,000 Biofuels Infrastructure grant from the Minnesota Department of Agriculture. The grant aims to increase access to and sales of motor fuel blends containing at least 15% ethanol.

The grant funds can be used to cover costs associated with the replacement or upgrading of current station equipment to ensure compatibility with E25 or higher motor fuel blends. To be eligible for the grant, retail petroleum dispensers in Minnesota must have no more than 10 sites.
