Hoosier National Forest Campsites Fully Booked Ahead of Solar Eclipse

INDIANAPOLIS — Some Hoosier National Forest campsites are already fully booked ahead of Monday’s solar eclipse.

Booking Status

According to a U.S. Forest Service Facebook post, all developed campsites are reserved for April 7-8. Walk-in tent campsites at Hardin Ridge Recreation Area are also full.

U.S. Forest Service officials have additionally reported that designated roadside dispersed campsites in the north end of the forest — Hickory Ridge, Berry Ridge, and Sundance Lake Areas — are full.
