Report on Addressing Domestic Violence in the Bay Area: Emphasizing Sustainable Development Goals

Domestic Violence Awareness

Introduction

This initiative aligns closely with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 5: Gender Equality, and Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions.

Objectives

  1. To understand how domestic violence affects communities, especially within Asian and Black populations in the Bay Area.
  2. To engage with survivors, community leaders, and service providers to identify effective measures to combat domestic violence.
  3. To raise awareness and promote inclusive solutions that support SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being.
