MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the 64-year-old motorcycle rider killed in a crash last weekend.
The agency stated that Robert Magel, of Deforest, died from the injuries he suffered in the crash. The Medical Examiner indicated a forensic examination was finished on Sept. 22 and additional testing is underway.
Officials pronounced Magel dead at the scene of the crash, which happened around 3:45 p.m. on Sept. 21 at North Stoughton Road and Rieder Road.
He was thrown from the motorcycle after trying to make a turn in the area.
