United Way of Logan County Offers Financial Assistance to Tornado Victims

LAKEVIEW, Ohio (WCMH) – United Way of Logan County is inviting households impacted by the deadly March 14 tornado to apply for financial assistance.
United Way’s Indian Lake Tornado Relief Fund is offering assistance for various needs, including housing expenses, home repairs, auto expenses, prescription medication, utilities, student hardship fees, pet care, and more.
How to Apply
- Intake will occur by appointment only at the Multi-Agency Resource Center located at 431 Madison Avenue in Russells Point.
- Victims can schedule an appointment by calling 937-592-2886.
- Residents who need transportation to an appointment can call Lift Delivery at 937-722-1347 for a free ride.
The financial assistance is made possible through donations to United Way’s Indian Lake Tornado Relief Fund. All donated funds will be utilized to support immediate and long-term recovery efforts, with a focus on identifying and fulfilling unmet needs, aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations.
