Investigation Details
On Thursday, October 12, 2023, the Cyber Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at Grossman’s residence following a months-long investigation into Internet child sexual abuse material. The investigation uncovered evidence that Grossman had utilized the Internet to view, download, and possess explicit content featuring nude prepubescent and pubescent children.
Arrest and Charges
As a direct outcome of the investigation, Steven K. Grossman was arrested on Thursday, October 12, 2023, in Paramus, NJ. He has been charged with second-degree possession of child pornography under N.J.S.A. 2C:24-4(b)5(b)ii. Grossman is currently being held at the Bergen County Jail until his initial appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, NJ.
