Operation Sneaky Peach: Over Two Dozen Arrested in Georgia for Child Sex Abuse

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) has successfully carried out “Operation Sneaky Peach,” resulting in the arrest of over two dozen individuals involved in child sex abuse cases across the state of Georgia.

Collaborative Efforts and Charges

The GBI worked in conjunction with 24 different law enforcement agencies to apprehend a total of 26 individuals. Each suspect has been charged with various forms of child sexual exploitation, including possession and distribution of child pornography, engaging in online chats to solicit children for sexual activities, and other instances of sexual abuse involving minors.

• Six of the arrests were made in the metro Atlanta area.

Disturbing Revelations

Shockingly, four of the arrested individuals have confessed to engaging in “hands-on sexual offenses” against children, either currently or in the past. Furthermore, during the operation, authorities discovered the presence of child sexual exploitation in 30 households where children were residing.
