Cape Fear Public Utility Authority Receives $35 Million in Loans for Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion

The Cape Fear Public Utility Authority (CFPUA) has been granted up to $35 million in loans from the state to replace and expand its Southside Wastewater Treatment Plant. This project aims to improve the treatment process and decrease the local cost of the expansion, which was estimated to be $250 million in fall 2022.
