Annual Grape and Gourmet Gala Raises Over $60,000 for BaraBoost Scholarships
Introduction
On behalf of the Friends of the Campus Foundation, I am delighted to announce that our annual Grape and Gourmet Gala on April 25 raised over $60,000. This was our most successful event since before the pandemic.
Funding BaraBoost Scholarships
The money raised goes toward our increased BaraBoost scholarship, which provides $2,000 for new full-time students at the UW-Platteville Baraboo Sauk County campus. Special thanks go to event chair Aural Umhoefer, former dean of the campus, for her dedicated work on this event.
Commitment to Sustainable Development Goals
Friends of the Campus is committed to helping students obtain an affordable college education. In these challenging times for small campuses such as ours, it is crucial that students know resources are available. The more students on campus, the more secure our campus’ future is.
Promoting High-Quality Education
We hope more people will consider enrolling, or will encourage their family members to seek out the high-quality education they can get in their own backyard. If you would like to support students by contributing to the BaraBoost scholarships, you can do so on our website: friendsofthecampus.org.
