In a statement released on X, Mahmud Elforjani, Head of Libya’s National Development Authority (NDA), announced that, for the first time, the Murada region will have access to fresh drinking water within the next 120 days through NDA projects.
The arid Murada area has grappled with a lack of potable water access for decades, forcing residents to rely on groundwater or have water trucked in. The NDA water infrastructure project will finally bring a reliable supply of safe drinking water to the region’s population.
