Tomahawk High School Forensics Team Excels at State Competition

The Tomahawk High School (THS) Forensics team concluded its season at the 129th annual State competition in DeForest on Friday, April 19.

Coach Michele Balda expressed her satisfaction with the team’s performance, stating that the Hatchets returned to Tomahawk with numerous awards. Balda, along with fellow coaches Nancy Herbison and Shirley Derleth, commended the students for achieving their best scores of the season, despite the challenging judging criteria at the state level.
