Meeting in Al-Bayda Province Discusses Vision for Developing Cooperative Work

The meeting held in Al-Bayda province, under the leadership of Governor Abdullah Idris, focused on the general vision plan for developing cooperative work in the model districts.

The attendees, including members of the development team, discussed various ways to activate cooperative work. This included encouraging community initiatives and enhancing the role of agricultural, development, and cooperative associations.

During the meeting, a report was presented on the activities of the development team. These activities involved field visits to the directorates and efforts to support community initiatives. The team also played a role in forming cooperative associations, contributing to plowing work, reclaiming dry lands, maintaining water barriers, road paving work, agricultural nursery activities, and producing and distributing seedlings to farmers with community contributions.

Governor Idris emphasized the importance of understanding the general vision for developing cooperative work. He stressed the need to implement it according to a specific plan and timetable, and to identify model directorates for cooperative work.

Furthermore, Governor Idris highlighted the significance of working according to a chronic implementation mechanism. He encouraged cooperative work in all directorates to reach an exemplary level and identified those responsible for implementing the vision.

Idris drew attention to the interest of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council in activating the role of agricultural associations. He emphasized the support for community initiatives and the importance of paying attention to the agricultural aspect. This includes reclaiming hard lands, maintaining dams, and creating barriers to benefit from rain torrents in modern ways. These efforts aim to serve development issues in various regions.

The Governor of Al-Bayda urged the local authority leaders in the districts to facilitate the work of the development team. He emphasized the need to work in a one-team spirit to contribute to achieving sustainable development.
