Arrest Made in Bowling Green for Child Sexual Abuse Material
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) – The Kentucky State Police (KSP) Electronic Crime Branch has arrested Bryer McCayne Williams Scott, a 25-year-old resident of Bowling Green, on charges related to child sexual abuse material.
Investigation and Arrest
Scott’s arrest is the outcome of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation conducted by the KSP Electronic Crime Branch. The investigation was initiated after the discovery of the suspect sharing images of child sexual exploitation online.
On March 26, a search warrant was executed at a residence in Bowling Green as a result of the investigation. Equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized during the operation and has been sent to KSP’s forensic laboratory for examination. The investigation is currently ongoing.
