AT&T Opens New Center to Promote Digital Literacy

Introduction

The initiative provides free internet access, as well as educational tools to help those who want to learn more about technology.

AT&T’s Contribution

AT&T is also making a $50,000 contribution to help provide additional support for the new center, located at 777 Indiana Ave., near West Michigan and North West streets.

Promoting Digital Transformation

This is the 25th center to be opened across the country and the first to open inside an urban league. The goal of these centers is to help people embrace the digital transformation, and give them the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the digital age.

Center Hours

The Indianapolis center will be open to participants in the Indianapolis Urban League from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The Warren Township Adult Basic Education Program will have adult remediation in the Connect Learning Lab on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
